Kawasaki H1 / H1R

Kawasaki H1 and H1R

If there was a tandem that caused so many damaged bones and irritate rash and skin grafts then this is it. Totally responsible for undertakers enormous conclusion profit. What a bombshell! The engine was a very thick three cylinder, two stroke element designed by a psychotic Kamikaze professor. This bicycled was a bad handler and a real beast to provoke.

The engine sat too high, the chassis lacked muscle. The brakes were nearly non current, save you integral green linings, and even then it was at best marginal. To tame this monster required balls the quantity of a hot air swell and a whole disregard for ones own wellbeing. It was hellishly momentary and handled like a wave slip in a nettle pit. Nevertheless I loved it. It had adapted, it had charisma and everybody admired it. Sadly, most of these end their life with wrinkled up front tops laying in wrecker’s yards.

The 500 Factory racer edition of this beast was a HIR-An and it was the only motorbike I rode that caused me to breech a bone. A collarbone! What a bastard of a cycle!
