The Kawabusa II
This very hot looking Kawabusa II elite is the work of one Norm Wilding, at MidMoMc. The initial situation for the cycle was a 2003 Kawasaki ZRX1200R, which is where the frame comes from. Everything also – plus the engine, wheels, brakes, suspension and swingarm – are off a 2005 Suzuki Hayabusa.
This is, in truth, Wilding’s minute Kawabusa, with significant improvements having been made to the unusual. Apart from diverse mechanical modifications, the cycle benefits from countless bolt-ons: carbonfibre front fender and rear hugger, gauges/instruments from a Suzuki GSX1400, headlight from a Suzuki Bandit, Renthal handlebars, BF Goodrich braided stainless steel brake ranks, oil cooler and tail company from a GSX-R1000, Yoshimura exhaust organism and a Power Commander.
‘I built this bicycle because I feeling the ability of the Hayabusa, and the upright riding place of the ZRX. The Kawabusa II certainly is a blast to provoke,’ says Wilding. Nevertheless of course…
Norm Wilding maybe did not like the Suzuki B-King very much, so he resolute to fabricate his own Hayabusa-powered naked musclebike. And he seems to have done well...!
